Maati Se Bandhi Dor 1st August 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Aaji asking Ranvijay and Vaiju to feed each other. They agree, and Jaya makes sheera for Ranvijay while chatting with Sulekha. Sulekha expresses sadness that Ranvijay didn’t take Jaya on a honeymoon, and suggests she should have fed him the sheera. Aaji asks Vaiju to taste the sheera, and everyone claps when she feeds Ranvijay. Vaiju then says she has a stomach ache and leaves, explaining that Ranvijay knew about it and didn’t feed her because of it.
Jaya mentions that Ranvijay promised her he would finish his work and come back. Sulekha warns Jaya that Ranvijay might leave her, but Jaya laughs it off, saying he supported her when she was in a coma and would never leave her. Sulekha then video calls Ranvijay, who is eating and in his car. She shows him the sheera and asks about his meeting. He apologizes, saying it will take time, and she encourages him to give his best effort. She asks if he’s met Vaiju, and then Kailash interrupts, asking why Jaya didn’t come as Ranvijay and Vaiju are there. Jaya asks to speak with Vaiju, but Ranvijay says Vaiju has gone out. He then asks the Sarpanch for help, and the Sarpanch reassures him.
Ranvijay tells Vaiju he wants to return to the lodge, as he doesn’t want to lie to the family. Vaiju tells him that staying is the right thing to do, as they will kill him if he leaves. She can’t bear to see Jaya as a widow, and tells him to stay calm. The next morning, Ranvijay thanks Vaiju for standing up for the farmers, and Aaji calls him outside. Vaiju says Ranvijay can’t run in the race because he’s delicate, so she’ll run alone. Ranvijay overhears this, and when the Sarpanch arrives, he asks about Jagtap’s response. The Sarpanch assures him the work will be done, and Aaji insists that Ranvijay join the race.
Meanwhile, Jaya is teaching Arhaan and imagines Ranvijay, which makes her smile. Vasundara and Ragini tease Jaya for missing Ranvijay. Jaya denies it, saying she was just teaching math. Ragini jokes about it, and Vasundara comments that Ranvijay is also missing Jaya.
The race competition starts, and Ranvijay encourages Vaiju to participate in the running race. Aaji thanks Ranvijay for doing it, and he says he’s doing it to prove that city people aren’t weak. The race involves men carrying their wives on their backs. Ranvijay is confused but joins in. As the race starts, Ranvijay falls into the mud but gets back up, although injured. He tells Vaiju they lost, but she insists they haven’t and lifts him on her back, carrying him to the finish line. Everyone claps, and they win the race. Aaji, Kailash, and everyone else are thrilled. Vaiju dances in joy, and Ranvijay claps for her. They receive the best couple trophy, and everyone applauds them.
